I guess BTC will cross 5000 USD soon, its value might rally up to 10k as well. However, I have no trust in the technology due to the slow transaction time and expensive transaction fee. Correct me if I am wrong.
It'll improve on transaction time. Right now there is some entity that has set up an exchange where they send huge quantities of Bitcoin between 2 keys to bog down the transaction times. Vin Armani talked about it recently on his podcast. I think this is the episode:
