Weekly Update: 03–04–2019

Welcome to the Ledgerback Blog publication! Herein you will find overall updates on the Ledgerback network.

For this week, we have updates on Project Greenback, Amalgam and The Backers publication, and an acknowledgement to Ewa Fabian.

Project Greenback

The Greenback service is on track to be live and running by March 24, 2019.

We are in the final stages of location hunting, with only 2–3 spaces left to review before making our final decision. We expect to decide on a location within the next 2 weeks.

Stay tuned for an update on the decision!

Additionally, we have completed our draft ToS, Privacy Policy and Compliance Program for the Greenback service. Once finalized, we shall upload the ToS and Privacy Policy to our website.

We are currently still working on additional forms to streamline the transactional process.

Amalgam

The second issue of Amalgam is set for April 2019!!!! We are excited to publish Amalgam again and hope you guys enjoy the articles.

Currently, we are deciding on topics and gathering resources to develop the articles.

One topic which seems to be taking root for the trademark article is discussing “the bitcoin logo as a trademark.” In other words, why the Bitcoin logo serves as a trademark for the Bitcoin blockchain, and why it has not been trademarked.

The Backers

The Backers publication has officially published its first article, “Fetch AI. Gone in 60 seconds,” by Shitcoinoffering!

We are very thankful and appreciative towards Shitcoinoffering for considering to publish their article in The Backers, and hope that Shitcoinoffering continues to see The Backers as a home for their future works.
