Computta review. The best new mining program for beginners to be released so far? Or is it just a bluff?
Hello all!
I thought I'd give a quick review on this new mining program I've come across, Computta. It seems like an interesting little program so I thought I'd give my view on it and see what everyone else thinks!
Firstly, mining bitcoin right now is pretty much impossible on your own. So what Computta has done is broken it down into more manageable sizes. Firstly, you're holding in mBTC, which stands for “MilliBitcoin” and is 1/1000th of a Bitcoin. All currencies you mine, whether it be Ethereum, Monero or any other type, is converted and stored as mBTC for your withdrawal.
This makes it easy to withdraw and makes it less confusing. Being a basic miner for beginners looking to try it out, it makes it simple and easy to get into without overloading them with information. That being said though, if a person wanted to learn more they have an extensive FAQ section that covers pretty well every question a person could ask.
Next, it has an attractive referral incentive. Everyone knows alone with your own little computer you won't be able to make much, but Computta has put in place a 5 tier reward system where you earn 10% of coins mined by any direct referral and 5% from there on. There's no limit to how many people can get involved so technically the earning potential here is limitless.
According to my own calculations though, to see any real rapid movement of income though, you'd be needing anywhere from 20 - 50 people in your group before you're matching what your own computer can generate. So the start could be a bit slow, especially for anyone who doesn't know too many people and can't market very well.
After that comes the devices. This is pretty straight forward. There's no limit to how many computers you can install this on with your username, so you could have 100 computers all ticking away mining little chunks of crypto together.
Off to the left of that then is the specs set for your current CPU/GPU. As you can see, there are various settings you can set your computer to mine to depending on what's happening. 100% and 90% are full blast, using all the available CPU and GPU your computer has to mine as many coins as possible.
If you have other work to do though, dropping it back to 50% or 'Smart' is a good way to mine where it won't interfere with the computers performance while doing a few calculations. Obviously rewards won't be as high but better than nothing.
There is more to the program in the back office section, such as where you put your BTC wallet for withdrawals and so on, but this is an overview of the actual mining part of the app and the important bits have been covered.
Now, concerns.
I honestly only have one thing that I can think of that could make this undesirable. Downloading a recently verified program to your computer could be a bit dangerous. What if it's hiding a virus? What if we don't actually see any returns? What if there's malware hiding inside it? Are there any unexpected expenses?
Well, from personal experience I can say it is not a virus. Otherwise I'd be writing this review from my phone. However, as to how much you receive from mining? Well, in the FAQ section it states Computta takes 20% of all coins mined as payment for the program. The rest of the 80% is yours. I have spoken with others in the company who have made withdrawals though so that was reassuring to hear. And in regards to unexpected fees, they have made it vastly, abundantly clear that it is and always will be 100% FREE to use their program no matter how many times you download it. So, it will be good to watch them stick to that promise if they can!
At the end of the day though, it is all a calculated risk. Personally, after having spoken with the developers and others involved, I'm rather confident this could become something very powerful in the way of helping young miners get started! But like all things, you MUST research these programs yourself before jumping in. I did that and came to a positive conclusion, despite a few negative reviews out there.
So what's your take on it all? Have you dealt with Computta before? Know anyone who has? Got any worries or concerns? I'd love to hear people's take on this program and why my choice to download it and give it a try was a good/bad thing. I'll attach the link below so if you're curious you can jump over and give it a look for yourself.
I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's opinion!
