Boy after the fork when people rush back to buy back the altcoins and dump their bitcoins. It would be a bloodbath. One thing to notice that not much new money has come into crypto markets in recent rally just recirculating.

There are coins with much more and much better sense and thought put behind: ETH, LBC, Gridcoin, obviously Steem, heck even Monero makes more sense.
BTC is just a proof of concept.
