IDG Capital Invests in KudX

As cryptocurrencies don’t show any signs of a slowdown in their explosive evolution, more and more global investors are turning to the crypto space in search of promising startups that need seed and venture funding.

IDG Capital, one of the top-tier venture capital and asset management firms in the world, has become an angel investor in KudX, a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Hong Kong. With the help of IDG’s highly skilled team and the firm’s financial backing, KudX hopes to achieve sustainable, long-term growth by offering its clients a sophisticated trading platform for online cryptocurrency exchange operations.

IDG itself gained worldwide recognition as the first investment firm to bring foreign venture capital into China. During the past two decades it backed over 1,000 companies with more than 200 successful exits. For example, it scored such investment hits as Chinese search engine Baidu, social networking platform Tencent, online travel company Trip.com Group, and electronics manufacturer Xiaomi.

Today, the Beijing-based investment firm focuses on Chinese startups in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors, which explains its interest in the crypto industry and KudX in particular.
