I wonder if @blockops could help here, or point someone to this question. I am not on the ZEN official team or developer, so I can't say about anything that is not publicly searchable, but what I found is a combination of yes, no, and irrelevant.

A great answer for a quantum discussion! A quantum offense is rendered useless by a quantum defense. Quantum opens the door for double spending, especially, and fast algorithm solving.

Thankfully, at least for now, crypto is not so important to be a target by those who have quantum capabilities, and most importantly the technology is not reliable or fast enough to actually be viable for attacking crypto networks. Even people who work with quantum computers, don't fully understand them since quantum mechanics are also vaguely understood.

I recommend scanning the discord chats for more ZEN specific information. Basically, it seems that real application of quantum comps to crypto could take up to 20 years on the very extreme estimates. So based on current estimates, we have a long time to adjust.

in other words, that's too far into the future to be a priority right now.

Blockchains can always be improved, and that is the goal for any project that wishes to survive.
