According to Google Trends, published on Monday, bitcoin is in the top 5 Google search queries.

Statistics for the USA shows that the word “bitcoin” in the system received more than 200,000 requests, making it the fifth most popular. The Ethereum entered the top twenty search queries: it place – 18.

CNBC notes that the $ 100 invested in bitcoin in 2010, has now become a 75 $ million. This year the cost of the famous bitcoin pizza was $ 22 million $.

The fact that Ethereum has entered the top 20 Google search queries are also noteworthy. Prior to launching Ethereum Enterprise Alliance, which occurred at the beginning of this year, Ethereum de facto remained unfamiliar to the wider public, but since the beginning of the year also showed strong growth, in which the value of the coin closer to 200$.

I am sure that this year and Steemit will reach the Top 10.

There was a 2013 study that showed Google Trends is a useful tool in predicting daily price changes for stocks.
"Google Trends data was useful in predicting daily price moves in the Dow Jones industrial average, which consists of 30 stocks."
It seems logical that it might also be useful for cryptocurrency price movements.
