A friend asked me: "What is Bitcoin?" (English, German & Deutsch)

A few days ago a friend of mine asked me to explain bitcoin to another friend. I thought it would be too hard to explain it in a Facebook message. Instead I decided to do a quick video that is about 10 min long and will cover the basics.
When new to the topic, its very easy to find stuff on bitcoin, but very hard to understand the comprehensive basics, so my goal was to keep it simple and focus on the things that are normally not explained well in about 12 minutes.
I show how satoshi's key purpose is to sent money peer to peer without going thru a 3rd party and how this is possible via a shared ledger the blockchain, which is governed and run by a consensus mechanism of the nodes of the network.
Please let me know if you think this is a good way to explain bitcoin for someone new. If not, please let me know what you think is missing and could be done better.

Was ist bitcoin und wie funktioniert es?
Vor einigen Tagen have ich eine Anfrage auf Facebook bekommen, was eigentlich bitcoin ist und wie es funktioniert. Weil es einfach zu schwierig ist dies ueber Facebook zu erklären habe ich ein kurzes video auf Deutsch und English erstellt.
Wenn das Thema neu für einen ist, findet man leicht viele Infos aber selten eine gute umfassende Übersicht, worum es eigentlich geht. Mein Ziel ist es diese einfache Übersicht zu erstellen.
Ich zeige die Vision von Satoshi Geld direkt zwischen zwei Teilnehmern zu senden ohne dritte und wie das mittels einer verteilten und geteilten Buchführung funktioniert, dem blockchain, das von einem Konsensus verwaltet und geschrieben wird.

Aber die Dritte Partei ist ja bei Bitcoin der Miner, der den Block berechnet ohne den Miner ist keine Transaktion möglich!
Ja aber das ist eben keine 3. Partei sondern ein Kollektiv. Der Miner kann eben auch nicht einfach Accounts veraendern wie das eine normale 3. Party kann.
This was definitely great. Very well done and organized visually and otherwise. I would love to see a video on mining. "Consensus format" and "cheating" were a tad abstract for me, but you explained them well considering they are complex. Maybe a second video explaining the consensus format, but only if there's a market for it. I may be the only one!
