- I don't know where you are located, but there are many developed countries that have recognized Bitcoin (and from that most likely any other blockchain-based ledger) as a currency, which will only help to legitimize it in financial transactions. Most law enforcement is more interested in de-anonymizing all blockchain transactions than preventing its use, and that is easy because most blockchains were not designed with anonymity in mind.
