This is pretty funny. HMRC just put an contract offer for people to make them blockchain tracking software.

Info on HMRC if you are not aware its a tax UK company pretty much.

100k GBP is like 131k USD which is funny price for tool to track that many things. Yet we do have companies tracking Bitcoin already so probably they will sell access to their API instead of giving software.

Also, notice how they misspelled Ethereum as Etherium.

But while the post may be funny in some ways its not. Govs are really looking to tighten the system and maybe they will rise taxes on crypto later or start banning it. Remember the transactions will never disappear and they may find you had some crypto back in the days and ask you where it is.
