Akon is a really famous artist and this is an interview with him. From start until like 24th minute He explains there bitcoin and monetary system to noobs in nice way. He knows what hes talking about, really nice to hear those wise words from a non-crypto celebrity. Also it seems hes not only great musician but also a great businessman and enterepeneur. So its Akoin was created by Grammy-nominated, ulti-platinum selling artist, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist Akon, who successfully founded and grew Akon Lighting Africa to provide scaled solar power solutions throughout 18 African countries.

Seems it will be ICO in form of donation (for legal reasons i assume) and he even wants to make a city in Africa that will use the coin.
