KCF is selling a bucket of chicken for $20.00 and are accepting Bitcoin. This is in Canada only, for now. But, this is the mainstream adoption we've all been waiting for.

They are live streaming the live price of BTC for 1 bucket of chicken. With transaction fees at all time highs, it's still early for Bitcoin to be cost effective for buying chicken. But, this is mass mainstream adoption, expect the unexpected. . .
I bet a McDonald's ICO will be announced in 2018. Especially with Telegram, Long Island Icetea and Kodiak using blockchain technology to super boost stocks. It's apparent that this blockchain indestry is where the money is.
I can see fast food chains using their own altcoins for customer royalty rewards programs. Accepting BITCOIN is only the beginning!!!

Wow! This is really fun news. I expect other big chains to follow, but I am interested to see after some time the percentage of people actually using bitcoin to purchase these items, and to see how it grows over time.
One day we have a bad news such as Korea and another day great news such as yours. It’s all just a noise and little bumps. Everyone should get used to that bitcoin and digital Blockchain is staying here especialy government all over the world. However there is still work to do with transaction fees and speed as well, this could be the biggest challenge.

I don't see how this would work out nicely, but who knows it may work out and then other places will accept it. Seems like everyone is trying to accept BTC nowadays, and I don't blame them.

Haha. Great news Kenn! But They should have chosen Litecoin for lightning fast transactions and low fees. The good part is that they have started somewhere. I am yet to make my first crypto purchase. I am from India and we can have mobile recharge done through bitcoins. Will try that soon and update. I recently saw your post where you booked your first flight through crypto and that seemed great to me. I think more service providers will start accepting payments in multiple Cryptos which is going to be very cool. :D Cheers!
