Digital currency fundamentals from Cambridge. Cambridge University in the UK has published a 114 pages guide ‘’Global Cryptocurrency Benchmarking Study’’, Cointelegraph cites. The study has been created by Dr. Garrick Hileman, Senior Research Associate at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance and a Researcher at the Centre for Macroeconomics and Michel Rauchs, a Research Assistant at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance. The guide contains main cryptocurrencies, exchanges, distribution of the industry and many social and economic analyzes. Also many known crypto companies participated and contributed to this study, such as Bitfinex, BitPesa, Coinbase, Jaxx, ViaBTC and many others.
Very cool, I will check that report out. I was just reading this one too that focuses on gold backed cryptocurrencies but also mentions some of the earlier digital currencies like Digicash and eCache.
