But it seems he is gaining something, I keep reading about the reward pool and that money that Haejin is losing is going back into that pool where Bernie profits. Can someone tell if that is correct? It seems like complete BS because I have looked at Bernie's posts and I have seen nothing there that provides any value (at least at first glance) Haejin gets upvotes because what he does is helping people make tons of money, myself included. I have yet to see anyone give a legitimate reason as to why he should be down voted.
It is correct. But that money doesn't just benefit Bernie, it can be redistributed to all members of Steemit. However, since this war is going on, it is definitely more likely to benefit him than others.
The reason people flag him is because of the #1 reason to flag:
Many people think he is making far too much money for the content he provides, and they want this money to be redistributed amongst others and not all going to @haejin. It's a fair enough reason, because single whales like this really ruin the platform.
Because only one or two people actually contribute to the post's payouts.
