One way around this is to encourage the use of the Dash Network. There are several places where you can sell Dash to dollars online https://bleutrade.com/exchange/DCR/BTC, https://bter.com/, https://c-cex.com/. Dash has a higher blocksize limit than bitcoin (2MB instead of 1MB) and far fewer transactions, so there's plenty of room to grow.
