Perhaps its the final push to the top point before correction to 2/3rd of its value now, it's only natural. There's no way bitcoin keeps rising in such short period of time without any correction.

And my theory for alts dropping in value when BTC goes up is that a lot of people who holds alts are cashing in on bitcoin when the price is getting good. So yeah, that's my theory @danlupi
