Facts don't matter, just the narrative

Luckily for bitcoin and crypto Michael Saylor has taken it on himself to not let misinformation run rampant on mainstream media outlets.

He's already hard at work dispelling the energy consumption myths.

Eventually people will stop spewing the same ol negative wrong headlines surrounding bitcoin and its carbon footprint and energy consumption, but it's going to take time to change that narrative.

This is a great step in that direction.

Stay informed my friends.

We are lucky to have this guy.

Hopefully the facts keep coming out.

And not the BS narrative.

If you compared the damage done by the currently fiat monetary system, it has to be far worse for the planet.

But, we can still do better.

We are going to do better soon.

Bitcoin (or another coin, if adopted sufficiently) could also serve as a vehicle for companies to frictionlessly participate in carbon offset programs internationally, since climate treaties, while important, are at best accomplishing vague goals through the apparatus of government beaurocracies. The potential innovations happening years from now need to also be figured into the environmental CB analysis.

Moore's Law also makes mining more efficient. But will be interesting to see if the environmental debate could leave an opening for PoS alts like ETH and ADA to gain some ground, or if BTC could move in that direction down the road.
