Governments ban bitcoin, that kills it right?! Wrong...

The smartest governments have already realized they cannot ban bitcoin, even if they try.

The one with a bit more hubris still think they can...

Nigeria is the perfect example of this.

The government kicked exchanges out and did their best to ban bitcoin, however, the peer to peer trading volume of bitcoin has exploded:

As long as bitcoin is legal somewhere and can transcend borders as easily as it does now, single countries banning it are akin to spitting in the ocean.

It's basically pointless.
