Sigh

Geez, this has been a mess. I am trying to figure out the easiest way to liquidate STEEM and so I tried registering for a Bitpay account. To my dismay, I do not have an account and I lost half of my STEEM, a value of about $28!!!!!

Bitpay Undervalues BTC

Their registration fee is a supposed $9.95 but their value is way way way undervalued. Their request is closer to $20 and after transaction fees between trading STEEM for BTS and BTS for BTC, I used up about $28 FOR A $9.95 CARD!

It Wasn't Even Enough!

Apparently, there were miner fees that they choose not to advertise, nevertheless I assumed there would be which is why I spend 2 extra STEEM to be certain. Keep in mind STEEM is about $1.80 - $1.90 now. This still was under the amount so my invoice is now on a halt.

Lack of Emails

I got an email stating that I had underpaid and I can wait 24-48 hours for a refund. This requires a response to another email that I have yet to receive so I can't even start the process. This means I have to patiently wait to patiently wait.

No Customer Service

Scouraging through their website, duck duck go, and their social media accounts, I couldn't find a support email or phone number nor an address to send letters. They simply don't have any reachable customer service team. This means absolutely zero customer support.

Soooo. Yeah. Thanks Bitpay for taking away so much from me.
