This was pretty much the best post I've read all day on Steemit. You bring up some compelling points and I agree with you on many of them. I'm too new to say Bitcoin is dead or Bitcoin is here for the long haul....I'm just fascinated with the 'idea' of it all.

Will there be a solution so that we can buy that cup of coffee with our phones, using the 'be all end all' BTC wallet app that we chose...Who knows. If it doesn't happen soon though, like you said, we may fall out of love with the grand daddy and start looking at serious contenders to take top spot?
