War will accelerate Bitcoin Adoption
War isn't good, but it may be good for Bitcoin
The COVID Pandemic pushed bitcoin adoption ahead by several years, at the very least.
Now, the Russia/Ukraine war will likely push bitcoin adoption ahead again but at least a several years.
With chaos everywhere, bitcoin and crypto have become a reliable funding source for Ukraine.
Though that isn't likely the reason bitcoin is to really benefit from the current crisis...
The real reason bitcoin may benefit is due to what the US is doing in response to this war.
All these financial sanctions are very quickly pushing many away from the dollar, and when this war ends the dollar's dominance will never be the same.
The dollar's loss is likely to be bitcoin's gain.
While many out there are saying that Russia, China, India, and Iran will all start trading in something else, it won't last very long before all of them don't want to trade in something someone else controls.
This is where bitcoin comes in.
I suspect bitcoin will eventually become the world's international settlement layer, and this war is likely speeding up that process.
It did a few times already! Secretly!

I feel this way as well...a multi-polar world is upon us...and multiple powers will want an independent medium of exchange and store of value.
That has been my base case all along. Seems logical to me, though logic doesn't always win out. :)
