While the rest of the world gets whipsawed, the HODLer sleeps soundly

People out there complain about how volatile bitcoin is, how it moves tremendous amounts in a very short period of time.

They are correct but if you have looked at the stocks of Facebook or Netflix lately, bitcoin is hardly alone.

Though, I wouldn't get into all that...

Today the CPI number was released and bitcoin did this:

A big drop followed by a sharp recovery.

While I won't get into all the ins and outs of what likely caused the drop and then pop, I will say that anyone hodling bitcoin likely didn't bat an eye at that move.

If you are hodling bitcoin for the medium to long term, everything else, like today, is just noise.

Buy the dips, like we had to $33k and then check the price ever couple of weeks, that's pretty much it.

Everyone who has held bitcoin at least 3 years has made money.

Not many other investment can make that claim...
