Bitcoin losing its stranglehold?steemCreated with Sketch.

Looks like Bitcoin has lost it's firm grip on the cryptocurrency market cap.

It's still the largest, but it's been hovering around that 50% mark whereas it used to be 90% less than a year ago.

Where will it go from here and when will steem join this list?

Nice post, I believe it's temporary, BTC is leading since long time and it will go up again with big volumes.

What about steem?

I guess it will always, or at least got the foreseeable future, remain the largest, but it’s % of the total market will likely continue to decline as other newer coins grow their absolute value more rapidly - I sure hope Steem is one of those coins.
