Block #479808 & the 3rd 'Gremlin'
I'm not siding any camp.
Actually I don't really mind the forks because both ABC and Core camps have their very valid reasons despite the trolling campaign and sub-reddit /r/bitcoin censorship claims.
Bitcoin used to be little mogwai cute and gentle. Don't feed it after midnight and not touch water, else they'll multiply. LOL, I suck at giving it a good representation, but Gremlin 1 & 2 are hilarious 'classic'.
3rd possible fork will be the Segwit2x - NYA - mutiny. If the block size limit is not adjusted by Nov 2017, some mining power goes to BCC/BCH and another hardfork for bitcoin happens (BIP102).
This weekend in approximately 35 hours 20 minutes from now, block #479808 - mining difficulty of bitcoin cash will decrease by about 50%, from 115,459,053,827.91 to 55,420,345,837.40 effectively. Is that causing the price rally we are witnessing?
For me this is a strategic pump to call for mining power on BCH from ABC team. Miners will only mine BCH if it's profitable. So, if you pump the coin, they will come. Then you need to sell the pump once peoples minds start to believe it's worth the investment.
This is my bet. But I can be wrong.
Crypto currency market without fundamental analysis is higher risk, your guesses could well be true. As the saying goes the higher the risk, higher the returns.
