This was boldly stated by Mark Williams, a risk management and capital markets professor at Boston University. Well, it didn't happen in 2014, 2015 or 2016, this year he might have a chance but it will be difficult to go there from current level. We need to stop some of the FUD and scams for crypto to get better as a whole. It's just as easy to pull a scam coin today as it was in 2014. I wrote about that already... My proposal is that we focus on a community accepted Coin ReputationRank.
Think of it, eBay has reputations, so does steemit. Why not coins too?
Yes, coin reputation or rating would be nice, especially considering there is already over 700 crypto projects on coinmarketcap and it's hard to watch them all. On the other hand I'm bit worried it might end having corrupted fake ratings similar to what S&P, Moody's and Fitch are providing. I've read your article and clear and transparent criteria might still make it doable.
I think crypto is still in its early stages, and bitcoin will keep on growing as more people start to adopt it. (I must just mention, I am no economist, thus I don't know anything about the subject) This only the view of a railway worker.
