Keep your Bitcoin safe, THIEVES are Coming!!!

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Thieves are coming for your crypto currencies. The latest internet theft was an Ethereum wallet called Ethereum Chamber. They hit fast and hard. They loured unsuspecting YouTube hosts and their viewers into uploading their ETH onto a "cloud wallet" and stole it.  Coinbase, just recently sent out an urgent notice to it's users to use Google Authenticator as part of their account security. Apparently, someone hacked into a users Verizon cell phone records and stole all of his coins from his Coinbase account.  Anyone that has been in crypto currencies for a while knows about Mt Gox (Japan exchange) and the theft of peoples BTC. As the value of crypto currencies rise and the industry goes beyond $100 Billion in market cap the thieves are coming. In fact, they are already here, we will just see more of them. The stakes are much larger now in the crypto industry. Real money is pouring into crypto currencies and the thieves will be much more sophisticated.

High end organized professional thieves are most likely eyeing the large crypto exchanges. It is very important to never keep your coins on your exchanges. Down load them onto your paper or Hard wallets as soon as you receive them. Always back up your wallets with passwords and copies (properly hidden of course).

And remember, always keep your Bitcoin and alts safe!

This kind of news will surely cause the price of ETH to plummet, plus other factors also.
