Cryptocurrency Tokens Will Not Be Considered Securies

Wyoming has just voted on a bill that states the use of cryptocurrency tokens will not be a security, which in turn will be expedited from property taxes. It is important to note, if you live in Wyoming, that you take the steps in order to be exempted from your tokens being counted as a security.

This is interesting and I applaud Wyoming, as this is the first legislation that directly concerns tokens. They are tackling this head on it seems like. We have a long way to go though, as federal law trumps state law. But this is still a good thing. If more and more states start voting on similar bills with the same outcome, laws will become clearer, and the federal government will have to rethink how they will handle all this Cryptocurrency hype.
