My thoughts: I think the reason WHY is that BTC enables full global reach, users create their own banks through secure Bitcoin wallets which in turn gives users full control. Hopefully whats happening in the market will sink in deeper with time and Bitcoin will become the FIRE HOT option for those seeking a viable investment option.
