Hmmm yeah I can imagine -it's Canada so if it's from Europe it's like when we buy from overseas :(

Wait just to be clear... you could not move your litecoin from Jaxx to the ledger...?
However you COULD send it back to bittrex (as long as you had some ether on there to do the fees)?
Correct -I could't send LTC from Jaxx to the ledger BUT I haven't tried to send it back to bittrex yet -will do today...(hopefully)
