What if the bitcoin fork becomes the new 'Bitcoin'? You will see a drop like crazy in the current BTC? Sure it'll catch up long term (2-3 years) but you might as buy in after the big crash instead of right now.
Sure, it may go up like crazy if the current BTC remains the MVP 'Bitcoin' but its a gamble.
