A Day In The Life of Bitcoin...
I love talking to people about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency....
I talk to everyone about it - most people around my town know me as the "Bitcoin Lady" LOL -
So it was no surprise that I did the same thing when I was in L.A. recently....
@ellemarieisme and I spent the day talking to people about cryptocurrency, liberty, free markets and peer-to-peer services....
One Lyft driver was really interesting - he knew about bitcoin and was working on a series about crypto that's coming out on Netflix soon! This guy quit his regular job to work on this project full-time, that's why he was driving for Lyft - to earn some money on his own schedule....
We spoke to people on the street, and in the restaurants we went to....
We even got our nails done - and paid in Bitcoin with our AIRBITZ wallet! ( Saved 10% too lol )

I have found women to be less concerned over issues like how to scale bitcoin, and more interested in ways to make it easier to use for the average person.
That's why I like steemit - it's an actual use case for crypto! :)
I agree 100%! The main challenge today is making it easier for the average person to get involved/invested into cryptocurrency. To create an application that people can earn/use/trade cryptos just by doing what they already love to do, that is not only a great business proposition, but a service to humanity! Helping my friends and family on-ramp into the cryptosphere is a passion of mine. But I am also VERY interested in how this can become an opportunity for those who have traditionally been locked out of the current financial system to finally get a fair shot at the global economy. I'm especially interested in helping women in India to participate in this financial revival. I have an investment club started to help encourage them to invest in the Indian stock market, but now I am thinking to focus more on cryptocurrency. Would love to hear more about your thoughts on this! Thanks~ (and keep up the great work!)

What is the name of your investment club dear? I've been thinking of starting up similar clubs at my children's school and the local colleges....Teaching kids the things about money that they don't teach in schools, but should lol! :) And also introducing them to new ways of earning an income outside of the traditional job market. Projects like #ZENCASH, #DASH, #DECRED, they all have a working governance system that pays directly from the blockchain and are accepting proposals for different work opportunities. This is something our kids should know about and be actively involved in, what do you think??
Ya, it's just a small group of 44 people. It's called India Investment Club which is a private group on FB. That's really great that you have a desire to help and teach others, especially the PRACTICAL knowledge that they need to succeed! The economy is changing so rapidly, it's almost impossible for the traditional education system to keep up. It's rewarding to invest and reap the rewards of wise financial decision making. However, it's much more rewarding to teach and help others succeed and watch them fulfill their dreams!! The future needs the creative minds of our children and others who have been shut out from the current economic system to reach it's full potential of improving the world as we know it. Thanks!
