I have heard of some websites making users agree to permitting servers access computing power to mine crypto while users are accessing the network. This is apparently happening on free to play, free to download sites.

I have not seen this personally but this is what I have heard from friends I trust, has anyone seen this? Would you allow them to access your computing power, in exchange for free torrents per se?
