WARNING!!! BTC Futures around the Corner!!! Inform yourselves!!!

For the ones familiar with futures markets and the effects of such in the daily life, they know that there won't be any major thing going on BTC because of them ... there is not going to be any flash crash or any "moon" stuff.

The whole idea of futures markets is to give certainty to different kind of market participants while transferring RISK to the ones that do not want it, to the risk-takers:

1. People mining BTC will be able to lock in a price to sell the mined BTC and thus plan their mining operations.

2. A serious inflow of investment that is interested in building daily life applications on the blockchain technology needs to have a way to hedge against BTC movements too.

The above - and others- are the reason why "Futures" markets exist. The ones interested in a little bit of history can google "futures markets corn" and will find good sources on why such markets were created.

This will give an opportunity for risk-takers (speculators) to have a gain too. At times it will be to the upside and others to the downside.

But in the long-term what will be the true effect of the Futures BTC markets is going to be that they will enhance the possibility of bitcoin staying around for -hopefully- forever. This is long-term bullish for bitcoin. 

Remember, tons of huge participants were hesitant to use BTC because of the volatility. Now they will not have such problems anymore and here is where a new wave of progress begins: BTC becoming a part of EVERYBODY's life through EVERYDAY applications.
