Amazon.com will soon begin accepting Bitcoin as a method of payment according to rumors circulating based on comments from former hedge fund manager and venture capitalist, James Altucher.

If rumors prove to be true, it could happen when Amazon announces their quarterly report around October 26, 2017.

Amazon is the largest Internet-based retailer in the world by total sales and market capitalization and could generate a wave a positive publicity for cryptocurrencies.
