Bout a month ago I had enough with coinbase, ended up stumbling onto gdax, only time its been down was the other day for that flash crash, I was sitting there watching it when the "wick" hit 10¢...BUY BUY BUY lol
Wait, when did this happen? I was able to buy and sell on Coinbase around 8 hours ago. If this happened to me, I would so angry. I think things like this is my biggest worry about the exchanges.
keep most of your coins offline bro! paper wallets or HW wallets are the best! we never know when this online exchanges and wallets go down! recently with all the ETH blockchain problems, due to the crazy amount of ICO's coming out, I move to those options definitely! so be safe ;) peace!

Ya have been looking at local bitcoins as well since this incident.
When Coinbase is down, 9 times outta 10 you can still access your Coinbase accounts via their exchange on GDAX.

Ive been on GDAX all day with no problems at all.
I didn't know about the GDAX, but i was only able to get on about 3 to 4 hours ago with my pc or phone app, strange indeed.
