Agree it's not a value-producing asset in terms of paying a dividend or similar - rather like gold...
I like STEEM precisely because it does do this - you grow volume as well as price
And you invest in a social platform that might end up being a business !
I certainly am looking at it as one of my 'non-work' revenue streams that will allow me to stop real work
