Shortly After Writing My Post Yesterday, That Bitcoin Would Correct, It Did.
My post was not well received by perma-bulls in the Bitcoin community. As many of my followers know I am also a Bitcoin bull but I also understand that a bull market needs support. We can not go up without first building a strong foundation. The Bitcoin trend line to the moon is still there. I am not one bit worried about this pullback. In fact I hope we see sub $5000 Bitcoin once again.

Yes, I think we need to go lower before we can safely go higher. So I decided to move into ICO's and into altcoins. If Bitcoin trends lower altcoins will also take a hit but if it trends sideways or slowly goes down altcoins will be the place to be.

alts go down when btc dump, and alts go down when btc pump... wtf?!
When it goes up they lose because people are selling alts to buy Bitcoin. Alts go down when Bitcoin goes down because alts are priced in Bitcoin.
@cryptotrader's point is correct. In a rational market, alts should be going up. The missing piece is that total market cap went from $330B to $283B.
today read the forecast for 2018, according to analysts Bitcoin will be from 5,000 to 13,000. And I think that this is likely to be so....
ALL assets have risen too far, too fast. The overall problem is fiat searching for returns. For myself, I view blockchain as the great equalizer - if allowed to reach full maturity - to democratize the world. Yeah, that's a lofty hope but anything we can do to alleviate the tryanny of the Banking system (and any centralized control) is a positive development to be sure.
Correction is happening now.. but it may go max upto $8k...

Those of us with any knowledge of basic market dynamics and the greed that has been fueling recent price increases have been preaching caution for a while now. I likewise wrote of shorting Bitcoin through Kraken a week or so ago to a not so warm reception. It's hard to pull a moth away from the bug zapper when all they see is the light..

I agree with your point. Need to go lower before we can safely go higher. IF so move to ALTs. BTC will grow and keep going in high level. I can trust BTC.

I an really angry at bitcoin right now. I want bitcoin to improve its fees. Just convert alot of bitcoin into eth but waiting/hoping for bitcoin to successfully fix the scalability issues it has....

You are absolutely correct! Yesterday I told you BTC growth is too fast! Now it will make the correct! Nice post and a great video!
