Reported by the detikTravel of the media iT News and The Sun, Mon (12/2/2018) Brisbane Airport will become the first airport in the world to accept bitcoin as payment and Exchange shopping. They will be working with a start-up company called TravelbyBit.

"A lot of people in the world to invest in cryptocurrency and many of them traveling cross country. So, it makes sense to offer a digital currency transaction experience in our terminal. We pride ourselves on so the first airport in the world that are involved in this, "said Roel Hellemons, General Manager of the Brisbane Airport Corporation quoted from iT News.

In addition, Brisbane Airport plan bitcoin will receive transactions with other types of cryptocurrency, such as Litecoin, Ethereum, Dash, to Steem.
