So sharding will be implemented most optimally in Ethereum new release.Gossip protocol is used in Big data tools for node failure detection. As far the new "block chain",Most real world use cases currently being implemented is really a glorified cloud database. i can't get my head around the proclamation thathyperledger is a true block chain??? its a DLB database and thats it!!!
