The other is, realistically, as with Genesis as well, a contract will terminate within a year anyway because the difficulty increase will give so little BTC that the electricity fee can not be paid anymore.

That said, should the BTC price rise nonstop, the contract will run longer. But then it would have been better to just buy the coin and hold it. The calculation must be: how much BTC did i invest and how much BTC will i get back ?
