The Truth Is The Hardest Pill To Swallow. The Best Way To Kill Bitcoin Was With A 1MB Blocksize Limit. Long Live Altcoins!

For anyone who has been around in this space for a while has probably heard about Purse.io

You can get 5-20% shopping on Amazon. In the past, I used them daily but once Bitcoin fees went past 20 cents it got to expensive for payments.

Today they announced Bitcoin Cash support. Trans fees on Cash are just 1 penny and the blocks always confirm after 10 min.

I hope they add even more altcoins this year to pay with. The more I use Bitcoin Cash and understand the community behind it the more it feels like the good ol' days of Bitcoin.

All about usage and adoption. I feel like the community behind Bitcoin Cash will not stop until Bitcoin is mass adopted. All the ol' Bitcoiners (the ones who made Bitcoin successful) are supporting Bitcoin Cash.

If Bitcoin Cash continues to be adopted all the miners from the legacy Bitcoin will eventually switch over if all the transactions and adoption is there.

I think its becoming very possible if not likely Bitcoin Cash becomes the dominate Bitcoin over some more time

I guess we'll see. The markets will ultimately decide in the end.

Sort:

I have no faith in the Bitcoin brand. Proof of work is already outdated and corrupted. API coins are the future.

I agree that BCH is better than BTC, because most altcoins are an improvement of Bitcoin. Some are already improvements of improvements of improvements of Bitcoin. The tech is evolving very quickly.

This is where I stand to. I am very open minded. I think some of these protocols are definitely here to stay. However, this is tech and it's highly disrupted especially with how fast this space is changing. Proof of Stake consensus protocols may turn out to be so much more efficient and scalable it makes POW obsolete. Steem can crank out the daily transactions at 2 mill + and not even use but .05% of capacity. There's so many dynamics at play with these protocols b/t computer science and economics. Moreover, not many people are thinking about a Corp. like Facebook or Twitter coming into air drop Facebook Coin to its 2 billion users. Its def something that would not surprise me. If something like that did happen then hopefully it would be very positive for Crypto, since then there would be 2 billion Crypto wallet accounts. However, Facebook could just make it their coin only and only allow coins to transfer to Facebook wallet addresses. I am speculating but so like this can happen. They try and kill Crypto with a Facebook coin.

What is a API Coin(s)?

Application protocol interface (API) means that you can build apps on top of the blockchain foundation. EOS, Ethereum, Neo, cardano, steem, etc.

Oh OK, I get it. That's the first time I heard them called that. Smart contracts platforms - Yes I totally agree with you 100% these will be huge b/c of the use cases and they also make a better store of value. Currency is just the first app of these newer protocols. I also believe governance will be a big deal in the future. Many of the APIs have built in governance and funding layers built natively within the protocol.

That is what I like about crypto. The market decides. Nothing better than a free market.

That is what I like about crypto. The market decides.

You said it there.

I think its becoming very possible if not likely Bitcoin Cash becomes the dominate Bitcoin over some more time

This I can not argue but totally agree with you, bitcoin cash has more tendency to be massively adopted than bitcoin because of its usability. As you’ve said , the market will definitely tell. The world of crypto is interesting

Today they announced Bitcoin Cash support. Trans fees on Cash are just 1 penny and the blocks always confirm after 10 min.

The best part about the Purse.io announcement is that for the month of June, if you use Bitcoin Cash & Purse.io to buy something from Amazon.com, you'll get $10 cashback (for 1st 1,000 users).

Thanks for sharing. Yes, I saw this! The community is doing a great job promoting it. I'll have to admit Bitcoin Cash fans are some of the most passionate Crypto people I ever met. I will def be using this to make an order at purse.io. Love the discounts and spending Crypto.

I've heard a lot about Bitshares recently. I heard they are the 2nd best blockchain but I haven't done research on them yet.

Yes, Bitshares is part of Dan's DPOS family (delegated proof of stake), which includes Bitshares, Steemit and EOS. Very exciting times ahead as these blockchains continue to gain mass adoption by ease of use. The EOS blockchain will go live in just a few weeks for the first time ever. I am incredibly bullish on EOS since its the first major blockchain to scale to run apps like Facebook with 100,000 tps. Steem also has a lot of great features since its from the same design. The Steem blockchain is specializing in building out an entire social media token system called SMTs. Some time this year SMTs are expected to launch. This by far the biggest upgrade coming to Steem as it allows a Wordpress like plug in play for anyone to launch a smart media token with just a few clicks of a button. Expected use cases are blogging platforms launching their own SMTs to monetize their content. Even Steem Apps like Dtube or Dlive could launch their on SMT creating a independent but seemless interface with Steem blockchain.

Keep us posted on EOS. I don't recall ever seeing anything about Bitshares on here. You don't upvote yourself? My solo upvotes don't count.

There is quite a bit posted on here about bitshares if you search the tab. Its a decentralized exchange so its probably not as exciting as some other projects but its used quite a lot.

I see more competition between BCH, LTC and LIghtning Network. More likely one of those three wins the small everyday purchase consumer market. IMO BTC will continue to be the go to for the majority of the large $ transactions and holdings. Bitcoin will increase the block size when it is in everyone’s interest devs/miners/users and needed.

Don’t see why miners would move to BCH unless they could make more money? So, higher return per block, # of transactions * fee.

It's game theory economics. If price of BCH gets high enough from the speculators. Most of that speculation comes from the adoption of BCH. Then the miners would go to the more profitable coin. Some miners will move over before in anticipation if they think BCH is going to increase in value over BTC. It's the same algo both BTC and BCH so it's extremely easy to switch over and mine the more profitable coin while the other gets abandon, which can lead to a vicious cycle downward. Bitcoin Core's difficulty takes 2 weeks to adjust. So its possible that the hashing power could leave in droves to BCH if the price climbed high enough and fast enough. The blocksize further increases the problem if that happens b/c transactions will not clear. We already saw this a few times already back in Nov. last year. If this happens I just hope it goes fast so the rest of the market will not be permanently affected. I really don't so much care about which Bitcoin wins but wanna see Crypto go mainstream.

It's all really exciting! I think having many cookies in different places is best as to not count on just one to get big as of course the market decides and nothing is guaranteed. Loved hearing your thoughts on this. Haven't really used bitcoin cash as it's just sitting in long storage. We shall see what happens. Side note thanx for all the support! I really appreciate it! Following you now! 😍

This is an exciting call my friend. The full mass adoption is what is needed to shoot to the stars. That is coming soon.

The coin bitquin is very large and very hard indeed
A very distinctive investment
