Blockchain is the technology and Bitcoin is an app on that technology. At the moment, the FIAT Currencies ($, £, EURO etc.) are hyper-inflating in relation to Bitcoin. But as the transaction fees and delay in transaction times continue to rise and increase (without being addressed/ combatted) then Bitcoin cannot be accessed or affordable to mainstream (for one reason or another).
