Buying Your First Altcoin
Overview
This tutorial will show you how to buy your first Altcoin with Binance. Since we are on the Steemit platform, it seems appropriate that I use Steem as an example. You can follow these steps to buy any Altcoin of your choice, just be sure to do your own research before making any decisions.
What You Will Need
You will need the following items available before you proceed.
Binance account funded with Bitcoin
Buying STEEMLog in to your Binance account.
Click on the Exchange tab and select Basic.
Type “steem” in the search field on the right side of the screen and click the STEEM/BTC pair that appears below it.
Click on the Market tab below the chart, enter the Amount of STEEM you would like to buy, and click Buy STEEM (I will cover the Limit and Stop-Limit buying options in a future tutorial).
Click the Orders tab and select Order History.
You should see your completed STEEM buy order in the table.
Congratulations! You now own your first Altcoin!
