I've had a feeling that Monero is a sleeping giant. Hasn't made any serious moves for a while and its waiting to break out past $50.

I agree. They seem to be ahead of the curve with implementing additional security and anonymity... I feel this will get more and more attention shortly... not to mention the strong technicals as posted here.
