anyone have any ideas- I loaded an Iota light wallet- but when I try to withdraw from Bifinex- its gives me an error message- looking for ideas

I had the same issue. Have you tried the IOTA slack channel? They helped me to figure that part out. One thing to try is to change the node to the one that says bitfinex.
