There is no way Bitcoin will be gone ever ! It will always be part of Cryptos.. It's like the http:// of the Internet, there will always be some sites using the "old" protocol.
I don’t think it’ll be gone ever, no.
Just over time the dynamic will change and it may not always be top coin.
Who knows, though...
