Venezuela mulling Bitcoin as international payment for oil

The Venezuelan central bank is sitting on a lot of Bitcoin. In addition to their own crypto currency, the Petro, the government is looking into the feasibility of using Bitcoin for oil payments worldwide. Since the Petro has been blocked or limited by the US, this move could be a new way for Venezuela to get around restrictions and sanctions.
