STEEM sharply rising 30% in past 24 hours!

STEEM gained around 30% in the past 24 hours.
Right now one STEEM is valued at 0.000537 BTC or 0.93 USD.

 

Interesting is that the rise in not due to a rising BTC, as Bitcoin has fallen by around 3% in the past 24 hours:

 

Most likely the rising numbers of aktive users are pushing the price. Another point is the "Krypto-Hype" that is happening right now. STEEM is not the only crypto-currency that has been rising in value during the past 24 hours: 

 

In any case, rising STEEM value is good news for every steemit.com user. We'll have to wait and see if the STEEM price can rise to and stay at 0.0006 BTC (= 1.00USD). This value was last reached on 8th of Mai!
