Huge News for Verge XVG

On 31st July, Huobi, the world’s third largest and an international exchange platform, has announced the listing of Verge [XVG] on its platform at 2:30 PM [GMT+8]. The deposit of XVG will also be available at the same time.

The withdrawal of XVG will be available at 14:30 [GMT+8] on 3rd August. The trading pairs XVG/BTC and XVG/ETH will open at 3 PM on 1st August 2018.

Verge [XVG] is a decentralized open-source cryptocurrency improving on the Bitcoin blockchain. Its goal is to complete its initial purpose of providing a fast and efficient way of direct transactions while maintaining their privacy. The total supply of XVG tokens is $16.5 billion and the circulation supply is $15.1 billion.

In the past week, the coin started its day with a trading price of $0.022 with a market cap of $340 million. At the time of writing, the coin showed a drastic increase in its price and is currently traded at a price of $0.0241 and the market cap is now at $366 million, showing an increase by $26 million. The coin has seen a hike of 5.32% in the past 24 hours and 11.28% over the past week.

Recently, a developer at Verge [XVG], Marvin Piekarek, introduced a new version of Electron [Light] Verge wallet and the launch of Verge codebase to Bitcoin v.0.13. The launch of codebase to Bitcoin led to the introduction of new security protocols and also allowed a possibility to create mobile payment systems.

The upgrade also led to the launch of Ring Confidential Transaction [RingCT], a privacy feature to make transactions more secure, and RootStock [RSK] smart contracts. As Verge currency mainly focuses on privacy and data security, RSK provides security, scalability and instant payments.
