Buying BTC with a credit card?

I am curious as to see what people's experiences are if and when they have purchased bitcoin with a credit card. I'm aware of the high fees on whatever platforms you are using to purchase from. Were there any fees from the credit card company, and was it charged as a cash advance? Thank you in advance.
